Treat connects the person giving, the person receiving, and the business offering the gift. Here is the journey on both sides.
If you are sending or receiving a gift

Find a gift
Browse gifts from local businesses in the Treat app — experiences, meals, wellness, and more from places people already love.

Choose what you want to give
Pick the gift that fits the person. Each one is offered by a real business, with clear details before you send it.

Purchase and send it
Buy the gift in the Treat app and send it to someone. They get a link they can open on their phone.

The recipient receives it
They open the Treat link, see what you sent, and download the app if they do not have it yet.

They claim it
They claim the gift with a Rwanda phone number. Treat sends a verification code on WhatsApp, then the gift sits in their account.

They redeem it
They visit the business and show their claim QR code. Staff scan it, and the gift is marked redeemed.
If you run a business

Business creates a gift
Owners set up their shop in Treat and create digital gifts with pricing, details, and availability.

A customer purchases
Someone buys the gift in the app — for themselves or as a present for someone else.

The gift is sent
Treat delivers a claim link. The buyer can share it so the recipient can open it on their phone.

The recipient claims it
The recipient verifies a Rwanda phone number on WhatsApp and the gift is attached to their profile.

They visit the business
When they are ready to enjoy the gift, they come in as they normally would.

Staff scan the QR code
At checkout, staff open Treat and scan the claim QR — or enter the code by hand.

The gift is redeemed
Treat records the redemption once. The business keeps a clear record of who claimed what.
